Catalysing Jesus Movements to shift the tracks of history
Characteristics of a Jesus-Movement
A Jesus-Movement reflects, embodies, and pursues these characteristics:
A strong commitment to be a Jesus-centered movement that multiplies disciples, leaders and ecclesia with a desire to shift the tracks of history, and partner with others in creating a tipping point for movemental Christianity.
The embodied values of ReJesus (demonstration of Christlike character and perspective), Scenius (orientation towards collaboration & partnership), and Metanoia (openness towards peer learning and fresh revelation) in their actions & interactions as an organization.
An active embracing and embodying of the paradigm and practice of integrating all six mDNA components into their organization (throughout the organization, leaders, culture, systems, and processes).
Demonstrable competence in movement dynamics, expressed through particular mDNA elements, and a focus on disciple-making and adaptive & innovative forms of ecclesia as an organization.
An active engagement in producing resources, developing training, and equipping others which ensures they and other organizations become more movemental.
Open to learning from other organizations and are sharing their learning with others (either in a geography or focus area) through training and resources.
